Fishing and Arcade Games
Fishing games are growing in popularity among players in Bangladesh. In JILI's Mega Fishing, All-star Fishing and Ocean King Jackpot, you control a cannon and hunt fish swimming across the screen.
Each shot has a set cost. Small fish give smaller prizes, while big boss fish carry higher multipliers. Upgrading the cannon level increases the cost per shot, so play within your budget.
Types of Arcade Games
- Multiplayer Fishing: Multiple players hunt together at the same table.
- Boss Fish Event: A big boss fish appears at a set time, and catching it brings a big prize.
- Jackpot Fishing: Jackpot Fishing has a chance to trigger a random jackpot.
- Target Shooting Arcade: Destroy set targets instead of fish to earn prizes.
Tip: Keep the cost per shot within 1–5% of your budget at all times. Rather than spending many shots chasing big fish, collect small fish to maintain your balance.
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP stands for Return to Player — it is the theoretical percentage of total bets that a game returns to players over the long term. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, then theoretically an average of ৳96 is returned for every ৳100 wagered.
House edge is the inverse of RTP. An RTP of 96% means a house edge of 4%. This differs across games. Typical comparative ranges are: slot games generally 92%–98%, Blackjack with correct strategy around 99%, Roulette generally up to 94%–97%.
The key point is that RTP is a long-term average — it does not guarantee results in any individual session. Winnings or losses in a short session can differ greatly from the RTP. Volatility or variance also matters: high-volatility games pay out less frequently but the amounts can be larger; low volatility games pay out more often but in smaller amounts.
Knowing a game's RTP and volatility before you start betting helps you make an informed decision. This is the foundation of having realistic expectations about gambling.

How to Read Odds
Understanding betting odds is the first requirement for a smart player. 116bet uses decimal odds, which is the easiest format.
Decimal Odds Example
You placed a bet of ৳500 at odds of 1.80.
Total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900
Profit = ৳900 − ৳500 = ৳400
Calculating implied probability from decimal odds is straightforward: 1 ÷ odds × 100. At odds of 1.80 = 1 ÷ 1.80 × 100 = approximately 55.6% — meaning the bookmaker considers this team's chance of winning to be around 55%.
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | ৳0.80 profit for every ৳1 wagered |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit for every ৳5 wagered |
| American | -125 | ৳100 profit when you bet ৳125 |

Bankroll Management Guide
The most important aspect of responsible gaming is proper bankroll management. It will help you enjoy gaming over the long term and avoid overspending.
- Set a budget: Decide in advance how much you can spend on gaming each month. Make sure losing that amount will not affect your daily life.
- Divide into sessions: Split your monthly budget into 4–5 sessions per week. Do not spend your entire budget in a single session.
- 1–5% per bet rule: Do not place more than 1% to 5% of your total session bankroll on a single bet. This ensures a longer playing experience.
- Stop after winning too: End the session once you reach your target after winning. The tendency to keep chasing bigger wins after a win usually leads to losing all your profit.
- Take a break after losses: Stop the session if you lose several times in a row. Placing large bets in a rush to recover losses is the biggest mistake.
- Keep a record of your play: Write down the deposits, bets, and results of each session in a simple notebook or on your phone. This helps you understand your spending patterns and stay within budget.
